Please name captures so they can be found

Brand, model, year. That is the whole convention and it costs nothing. "Marshall JCM800 2203 1983" tells me what it is. "MEGA CRUNCH V3 FINAL" tells me nothing, and in a library of several hundred thousand tones it is functionally invisible. Two related things worth saying plainly: do not put an artist's name on a capture of your own amp, and do not capture a plugin. Capturing someone else's amp sim and uploading it is redistributing their work with extra steps, and the larger libraries already ban it.

Mild disagreement on one point. Brand, model, year is right for an amp capture. For a pedal into an amp it is not enough — I want the settings, or at least a word about where the knobs were. "TS808 into a 2204" tells me the chain. It does not tell me whether the drive was at nine o'clock or maximum, and those are completely different files.

Strong agreement on not capturing plugins. It comes up more than it should, and people genuinely do not seem to know it is a problem. If you would not upload the plugin itself, do not upload a model trained on its output.
