Session clean — chorus into a blackface

Semi-hollow, CE-2, Twin Reverb kept genuinely clean. The default for anything that has to sit under a vocal.

Nothing here is trying to be interesting. A semi-hollow into a CE-2 into a Twin at volume 3, which is the sound a hundred records use for the part nobody notices. Capture kept clean deliberately: reverb and delay go after, in the mix, where they can be automated. Baking them into the capture means never being able to take them out.
