SD-1 as a boost — drive off, level up
Drive at zero, level at maximum. A tightening device in front of a high-gain amp rather than a distortion.
How it was made
Boss SD-1 with the drive fully off and the level fully up, which is how it gets used in front of a high-gain amp: it tightens the low end and pushes the front end, and contributes almost no distortion of its own.
Captured on its own so you can put it in front of whatever amp capture you like. Calibration matters more than usual for a boost — the input_level_dbu in the metadata is real, not a default.
